The hotel features a beautiful riverside setting that feels calm, especially during early mornings. The private dining room offers a distinct atmosphere for meals, making it a nice touch for those looking for a more intimate dining experience.
The spa requires a two-week notice for treatments, which could be frustrating for last-minute planners. Access to the pool costs an additional £25 per person for a limited time, which seems a bit steep. The Standard Double Room lacked air conditioning, leading to uncomfortable heat, and the sliding windows felt insecure on the ground floor. Given the price, the small room size and lack of basic amenities were disappointing. the river nearby, while picturesque, had some cleanliness issues that detracted from the overall experience.

stylish hotel near amazing landmarks and beautiful parks
Staying at this hotel was a delight, especially with the charming Minster Lovell Hall and Dovecote just about 500 meters away and the lovely Crocodiles of the World a short drive away, making it so easy to explore the area's beauty. in addition, the friendly staff and the gorgeous grounds really enhanced my experience as I enjoyed relaxing spots under the glass patio after my city strollers.

We enjoyed lovely walks right from our doorstep and were thrilled to explore charming villages nearby, including the ruins of the old manor house in Minster Lovell. The highlight was definitely relaxing by the river with our family dog, soaking in the beautiful surroundings.
In my children's opinion, the dining options could be better tailored for families. They found the menu a bit limited, which made dinner time less exciting for them.

Super helpful staff and nice rooms!
Had a lovely stay. The staff were sooo friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Our room was bigger than we thought, and it even had a fan! The garden area was stunning, perfect for a stroll. One thing, though—the pool cost extra, which was kinda annoying. But overall, a really nice time.

The stylish décor provided a serene ambiance that felt welcoming, complemented by easy access pathways that were a delight for leisurely strolls, especially for those not as spry as they used to be.
More comfortable seating options in common areas.

missingWrote a review on 12 Maycharming decorbeautiful viewstranquil settingmisleading charges
Room's charming decor added a rustic charm, and the surrounding area offered beautiful views of the river. The outdoor spaces provided a tranquil setting, perfect for relaxation after a long day.
Some areas of the room showed wear, with a few small holes in the walls and a malfunctioning desk lamp. Communication about spa access before arrival was misleading, coupled with the hefty charges for using facilities like the pool. the restaurant experience fell flat, with long waits for basic items and no clear menu options for a la carte dining despite being nearly empty that night.
